Project Hawaii Summer Camp
Project Hawai'i, Inc. is a nonprofit organization that offers an Award Winning Teen Mentoring Summer Camp program.
Project Hawai'i Educational Summer Camp provides homeless and poverty stricken children with exciting and interactive encounters that will open up the world around them. These activities would otherwise be outside of their financial reach. All campers will have hands on experiences that will enhance their appreciation for, and understanding of their environment, community and Hawaiian culture. They support a well rounded educational program that gives these children the hope they deserve! Their camp is built and designed to allow the children to escape their everyday troubles in a safe and serene environment. They provide them with basic life skills to help them keep clean and healthy. By introducing them to various activities like art, music, and cultural exercises which they keep their minds active and growing. In addition, they field trips they provide are designed to set them up for success in life and in school. These keiki WILL gain self-esteem beyond comparison and be ready to face their world once they return "home".
It's that time of year when stress less can be high, and the cure for that is compassion. When we focus on others our concerns become less important. We want to leverage compassion as much as we can in helping our homeless keiki here in Hawaii.
We are determined in working with Project Hawaii Inc. by enhancing the lives of homeless children throughout the year and help them escape the cycle of poverty they were born into.
Donate For Our Keiki
