Who is Mr Tui?
Tamafaiga Tuiteleleapaga or “Mr. Tui” is the Deputy Director of the Hawaii Youth Challenge Academy. He was originally from Samoa, and after joining the military, he found his way back to Hawaii where he met his wife and had 2 daughters.
The Hawaii National Guard Youth Challenge Academy’s endeavor is to provide the State of Hawaii a premier progressive alternative school for “at-promise” youth that focuses on lessons in character, education, moral values, life-coping skills and responsible citizenship.
