There’s a proposed amendment to the Hawaii constitution that’s up on the ballot next month. Here’s some more information on the measure and its potential impact.

Today we want to talk to you about the Hawaii Constitution, which will be subject to change by voters in the coming general election.

Specifically, the ballot asks, “Shall the legislature be authorized to establish, as provided by law, a surcharge on investment real property to be used to support public education?”

Check out this video from four of our or past Hawaii governors. They have done the research and are suggesting you vote NO.

Our cost of living is already the highest in the nation. Are we prepared to see it go up even higher? This is not a property tax just on the wealthy. This tax hurts everyone.
