2018 Firework Show In Oahu

Every year, the choices for a fun Independence Day are better than ever. No matter where you live, Leeward or Windward, there is a place for you on Oahu. Here is a list of some of the more popular places to see the rocket’s red glare. If you’re considering having your own backyard fireworks celebration, be sure to brush up on Oahu fireworks law before you do so! Otherwise, here are some great places you can go to see the firework extravaganzas:

Oahu

Ala Moana Park

Join 60,000 spectators as join celebrate 4th of July at one of the biggest firework extravaganzas in the entire state.  Visitors can enter Ala Moana Beach Park to secure their spot to view the fireworks on July 3rd.

Rules:

No alcohol, no smoking, no littering, dogs (services dogs excluded), and drones.

The Turtle Bay fireworks show will take place at The Point Sunset Pool and Bar.

Schofield Barracks

Important Information

Celebrate Independence Day at Weyand Field on Schofield Barracks. Enjoy food, drinks, live music, games, inflatable rides, pony rides, and so much more!

  • Vehicle drivers and all passengers 16 years of age and older are REQUIRED to show a valid State or Federal Government ID at the gates
  • All coolers/backpacks/bags are subject to inspection while on Schofield Barracks
  • NO PETS (except for registered service animals)
  • NO GLASS BOTTLES
  • For your safety, please view additional PROHIBITED ITEMS

Non-DoD Cardholder Entry/Parking

Visitors who do not possess a military/DoD identification card should enter Schofield through Foote Gate on Foote Avenue. Visitors will then be directed by traffic control
personnel to park on Watts Field. All vehicle occupants 16 years of age and older must present a valid state or government photo ID, and the vehicle driver must provide a current driver’s license, vehicle registration, proof of insurance and safety check. Get more details on the MWR website.

Kailua Fourth of July Fireworks and Airshow


Location: Kailua Beach Park
5:45 pm: Acrobatic Air Show with Skydive Hawaii Presenting Colonel John Bates and the Flying Leathernecks (view more information on the Flying Leathernecks here)
8:00 pm: Fireworks Show begins
Free Public Parking: (Public parking will be available on July 4, 2018, from 3:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m.

Shuttle Stops: Kailua Town Center Parking Lot (old Macy’s Parking Lot) to Kailua Elementary, to Kailua Beach Center (free shuttle service)

Ko Olina

There will be a firework show over the beautiful Ko Olina lagoon fronting the new Four Seasons Oahu Resort and Disney Aulani Resort is set to begin at 8:30pm. Consider making a lovely weekend of it (and secure parking) by dining or staying at one of these two resorts and enjoying a beautiful Ko Olina sunset everyday for the holiday weekend.
